Arizona Society of Homebrewers

With the heat earlier this week I noticed my keezer climbing in temp. It's currently resting at 60 degrees which is probably only due to good insulation and cooler nights.

The compressor sounds like it is running, and it gets warm (not sure how warm it normally gets because I never thought to feel it).

I looked for trouble shooting tips online and the compressor doesn't appear to shorted to the housing and the resistance on the connectors are good.

But the damn thing just won't get cool.

Anyone here have any experience fixing chest freezers?

I've posted this to Facebook and twitter. We'll see what turns up!

Are the coils clean. That can make it not cool off.

Coils are internal in a cheat freezer nothing to clean
