Growlers!!

John at the Whole Foods Watering Hole told me that Arizona changed the law and soon (mid-August?) that ANY bar that serves beer on tap will be able to fill growlers.  First, does anyone have any additional information on this?  Can we get any growler filled anywhere? Second, does anyone know where to get custom printed growlers?  I have a buddy who owns a pizza place and he has put me in charge of finding out how much it would cost to get some.  See More

Save the date for the April general membership meeting. More details soon. We'll need someone to bring about 2-3 gallons of beer to share for the Calibration Brew. It's more fun if you can answer questions about your beer.Scott Brady, the 2011 ASH Oktoberfest Competition Best in Show winner, will be the featured guest. Chest Freezer Conversion

Can someone provide a list of parts that I will need to convert my chest freezer into a serving vessel?  I have a few Corny kegs, 2 CO2 tanks with dual regulators, 2 shanks with taps and (obviously) a chest freezer.  The plan is to put a 2X4 wooden collar on top and drills through for the taps.I know I need another Johnson controller, a CO2 manifold, a few in and out Corny adapters and some tubing.  Here is where I get fuzzy. What else do I need?  How do I get the beer line onto the shanks?…See More

Excellent! You'll have to give me a taste in a few weeks.

I'm actually racking the all-grain attempt to the secondary later. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's tasty.
