"One easy way to maybe get things going again is to swirl the fermenter a little bit.  This will get the yeast back into suspension and possible have it attenuate a little lower.    "

India Black Ale Extract Brew

Brewed up a batch of Brewers Best India Black Ale with Rob and the gang at his house for the TV cameras 10 days ago. Brewing went great with a 1.066 OG result which is right in the range. Fermentation seemed to have been complete with no bubbling happening. Now I am ready to add the dry hops but the FG is only at 1.022 but needs to be between 1.014 - 1.016. My question is do I hold off on dry hop until the FG is in the right range? or do I add the dry hop and then check it in four days to see…See More
