May Meeting Recap
Melissa Osborne, the Competition Organizer for Ameri"Can" Canned beer festival, discussed GABF style beer judging and brought us up to speed on canned beer. People that judged American compared BJCP rules to GABF rules. Melissa is also runs the Barrel Age program at Four Peaks Brewing and answered a few questions about the brewery's direction.
We also had discussion about the pros and cons of canned beer.
Pursuit of Hoppiness from Grand Teton and Solace from Firestone Walker, were on had thanks to those breweries donations to Springfest.
People began to bring the kegs you've pledged toward Club Night at NHC San Diego.
Homebrewer of the Year contest entry was collected. This round was Porter.
SpringFest on May 14th was recapped and Jerry van West's team was given a job well done!
AZGPO Anniversary Party
Thursday May 19th at Sun Up Brewery from 6-7:30 the party will be girls only, 7:30-9 the party will be co-ed.
Uwe is brewing a special release Marzen in the group's honor.
Commemorative pint glasses for the first 75 people.
Price TBD (probably around $20)

Rob proposed a t-shirt design rally for Oktoberfest.

t-shirt designs already getting sketched out. should have some ready for next meeting :)
